Holy Cow! Where did the time go?

Sorry for those of you who actually look at our blog. So much has happened lately and sadly I've not written about anything. Things can be a little busy for me lately and time has just slipped away from me.
Anyway since my last post, Kayla graduated kindergarten and finished up doing gymnastics for the year. Tomorrow she is going to start swimming lessons which she has never done so we'll see how that goes. Also this fall she is going to start ballet. The studio she is going to go to is actually called Idaho Falls School of Ballet and its more serious thatn the dance she did a few years ago so we'll see goes. But she is really excited for both. On top of that in about 3 weeks she'll start first grade which is crazy to me she seems to be growing up so fast. In fact in the month we finished the remainder of our bedrooms in the basement, and the largest one is now Kayla's own bedroom. She was so excited about it especially since she hasn't had her own room in a while, and because we painted it pink and purple for her and got her a bunkbed for it (with the purpose that someday when Talia's older she'll share that room with her, its quite large!).
Jace is doing good as well, but he's still little. He's still at 28 pounds and I keep waited for any kind of growth spurt to hit him but so far no luck. I'm sure it doesn't help that he eats like a bird. Hopefully he'll grow out of that and just grow! Anyway, in September he'll start preschool which he is so excited about. He's been asking me to go to school since Kayla started kindergarten. So I used that as an incentive to potty train. I'm not really sure it helped it was probably my persistance more than anything else but he has been potty trained since spring break, except he still wears pullups at night. He still wets about 50% of the time at night but at least I don't have to change diapers anymore!
Talia is growing so fast. I can't believe in two months she'll be one! The time has gone by so fast and I can't help but think I missed something. She has been crawling for about two months now and she gets in to just about everything, including catfood. And in the last few weeks she has discovered the stairs which has added even more concerns especially after a little spill she had last week. She is just so curious and adventurous and seems to not be afraid of anything. So you really have to keep and eye on her and try to keep the house as baby-proofed as you can. We had babyproofed with the other kids, but we've had to do a little more this time because of her curiousness. But she is alot of fun and she just melts me with her big smile. Her hair is going blond and I think she has my smile and nose so luckily she is looking a little more like me now which is nice. I get alot of comments that our kids look like their dad. Sadly I don't get many comments that they look like me so when I do it makes me happy. So its nice to see some of my features come out in Talia.
Anyway, nothing new is going on with me or Jon. Works going okay for Jon, though its been a little more stressful lately. As for me I'm the same. I stay at home with the kids and try not to go crazy! I'd like to post some new pictures but Jon transferred our memory card to something and I don't know on what and can't find it either. And of course, he is at work. So some other time. I have alot of cute new pictures of the kids. I'll get a few posted in the near future, if I can get around to it, so don't hold your breath! Just kidding! I know alot of us are having a hard time updating but I find if other people update theirs more often than it encourages me to as well. So please help me I need some encouragement and motivation to keep on top of this!Oh well, thanks for reading my ramblings.
